Ingredients
4 apples , peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
Directions-Put the apples and water in a saucepan. -Cover and bring to the boil. -Boil over low heat, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. -Stir in sugar and cook until it dissolves. -Add cinnamon or nutmeg. -Serve warm
***Turned out really sweet. Next time will try using a little less sugar***
