Williamsburg Bread

Recipe from Michael Steele

2 packages crescent rolls
2 blocks cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
Cinnamon sugar for topping

Preheat oven to 350.

Grease 13x9 pan.

Unroll one can of crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan. Pinch the seams together.

Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth. Pour over rolls and spread evenly.

Unroll second roll of crescent rolls and place on top of mixture.

Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

***Put second can of rolls on wax paper, pinch seams together, then lay on cheese mixture.***
