4 cups tomatoes
6 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups half and half
2 cups milk
Simmer tomatoes and butter over low heat. Place in blender and puree. Return to pot. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Heat thoroughly and serve.
